TegernseeCard
With the TegernseeCard, overnight guests can take up to two free one-way trips per day during their stay within the validity period – during regular service hours. A one-way trip is a trip from one location to the nearest community on the line. The Grand Tour and the Southern Tour are not included. Show your TegernseeCard to the boat conductor before purchasing a ticket – no refunds will be given after purchase. Please note: The TegernseeCard is not the same as the Tegernsee Guest Card. There is no discount for boat trips with the Tegernsee Guest Card.
Save money with the Guten-Tag-Ticket of Bayerische Regiobahn (railway)
Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) operates the railway line from Munich to Lake Tegernsee (RB 57). When traveling to Lake Tegernsee with the BRB's Guten Tag Ticket, there is a 5% discount (rounded up) on the regular adult fare. The Guten Tag Ticket must be shown to the boat conductor before purchasing a ticket. Subsequent refunds are not possible. Discounts cannot be combined.

If you travel with MVV Munich and present a valid MVV adult ticket, you will receive a 5% discount on the adult fare (rounded up to the nearest 10 cents) when purchasing a regular ticket. MVV tickets must be presented to the conductor without being asked before purchasing tickets. Subsequent refunds are not possible. Discounts cannot be combined.
