Guidelines for bringing dogs on board
- Dogs are only allowed to travel under the supervision of a suitable person. They are not allowed to move freely on board or on the piers. Dogs that disturb other guests must be kept on a leash.
- On the boats of Schifffahrt Königssee, all dogs must wear a muzzle, regardless of breed or size. Only dogs in closed transport boxes are exempt from this rule. Guide dogs and marked assistance dogs do not need to wear a muzzle.
- Fighting dogs (according to the Bavarian Ordinance on Dangerous Dogs of 10 July 1992) are not permitted.
- Dog trailers cannot usually be transported.
- In the interests of our other passengers, please do not allow your dog to swim in the lake immediately before the trip. The boat crew may refuse to transport wet dogs.
Bikes, Segways, SUBs, etc.
What is possible?
- Bicycles, Segways, and e-scooters are allowed on lines A and B, provided there is sufficient space and they do not block escape routes.
- Please note: On some days, line B is replaced by a small boat. In this case, unfortunately, bicycles cannot be transported.
- Bicycles cannot be transported on the small boats on lines C and D, as they would block the required escape routes.
- Cargo bikes are generally not accepted, as they are too large for the landing stages.
- Children's bike trailers must be detached from the bike, as the entire combination does not fit over the landing stage.
- SUP boards can only be transported when folded.
- Please note that the number of bicycles etc. per boat is limited for safety reasons. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that bicycles will be accepted for transport.
How much does it cost?
- You can purchase a bicycle ticket from the conductor. The ticket must be purchased for each route (journey).
- MVV-Fahrradticket are not accepted.
