Schifffahrt Tegernsee has several passenger ships, whose design has shaped the image of the lake for many years. The shape and layout of the ships are based on a long tradition of regular service on Lake Tegernsee.
Depending on the type of ship, they range in length from 20 to 31 meters. The ships can accommodate up to 250 people and are designed to ensure a pleasant stay on board. Sanitary facilities are located on the two large passenger ships, MS TEGERNSEE and MS ROTTACH-EGERN.
The entire fleet is maintained at the company's own shipyard on Lake Tegernsee. There, the employees take care of both the construction of parts of the equipment and the regular maintenance and repair work, which mainly takes place during the winter months.
