Family trip to Königssee

• Children up to 5 years of age travel free when accompanied by an adult.
• Children aged 6 to 17 receive a 50% discount on the adult fare.
• When accompanied by a full-paying adult (mom, dad, grandma or grandpa), the first child or grandchild aged 6 to 17 travels at the child rate. All additional children or grandchildren aged 6 to 17 travel for only €1.00 each.
• Please show ID to prove age.

• There is limited space for strollers on our electric passenger ships. When there are many guests on board, there may be waiting times for large strollers. To ensure that everyone can travel comfortably, we recommend using a buggy or a foldable stroller.
• Unfortunately, children's bike trailers that have been converted into strollers cannot be taken on board.
• Bicycles are generally not transported.

You can also change your baby's diaper in the restrooms.

• St. Bartholomä:
  The path along the lake shore is flat and paved with gravel – ideal for strollers. From the jetty, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the spot where the exciting Eisbach flows into Königssee.
• Salet:
  There is an easily accessible path from the jetty to Obersee, which can also be used with strollers. However, the path continuing to the alpine pastures is only suitable for older children with sturdy shoes.

As there is no catering on our boats, you can stop for refreshments at the St. Bartholomä restaurant, at the Fischer vom Königssee restaurant, or at the Saletalm restaurant. Typical alpine snacks are also available at the Fischunkelalm or the Almkaser Salet.
